These Terms of Use apply when you play The Ball Game (“the Game”). By playing, you agree to them. If you got the Game from the App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; these terms add to it.
The Game is made by Bisser Marinov, an individual developer based in Bulgaria (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at support@theballgame.app.
The Game is meant for players aged 13 and over. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent’s or guardian’s permission to play and to make purchases.
You don’t need an account. The Game gives you a random player name and a Player ID, and keeps your progress on your device. If you delete the Game or lose your device, your progress may be lost; we can’t currently restore it. Player names must not be offensive, misleading or impersonate anyone. We may hide a name that breaks this rule in online matches.
“Play online” matches you with another player. When no player is available within a short time, you may be matched with a computer-controlled opponent instead, so you don’t have to wait. Computer opponents look like other players and give the same rewards and trophies. “Play a friend” matches always connect two people who share a room code. Online play needs an internet connection; a match can end early if a player leaves or the connection drops. Leaving an online match, closing the Game during one, or running out of time to pick or launch counts as a loss.
Coins, chests, ball parts, balls, levels and skins (“virtual items”) are a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use them in the Game. They have no value outside the Game and can’t be exchanged for money, sold or traded. The contents of chests are random; the odds are shown in the Shop before you open a chest. To keep the Game fair and fun we may change balls, prices, rewards and odds over time; changed odds apply only to chests opened afterwards. Skins change only how things look.
Purchases are sold by Apple under Apple’s Media Services Terms, at the price shown in the App Store; those terms set your cancellation and refund rights. Items are delivered right after purchase. Refund requests are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. No Ads can be restored on a new device with Restore purchases; the Starter Pack can be bought only once.
The Game shows ads, including an ad between matches after every few matches and optional videos that give free chests. Buying No Ads removes the ads between matches; optional reward videos stay available. Ads are provided by Google AdMob; see our Privacy Policy.
Don’t cheat, use bots, modified versions of the Game, exploits or tools that give an unfair advantage, and don’t try to disrupt the Game or its servers. If you do, we may remove progress or items gained that way or block you from online play.
We update the Game to fix problems, add content and keep it balanced. We may change or stop features, including online play, where there is a good reason. If a change significantly harms something you paid for, contact us. If we close the Game for good, we’ll try to give at least 30 days’ notice in the Game.
The Game, its art, code, names and content belong to us or our licensors. You may play it for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may share screenshots and videos of your play.
We work hard to keep the Game running well, but we provide it as it is, without promising it will always be available or free of errors, as far as the law allows. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, such as for intent or gross negligence, or your rights as a consumer.
We may update these terms. For important changes we’ll show a notice in the Game. If you keep playing after the change, the new terms apply; if you don’t accept them, you can stop playing.
These terms are governed by Bulgarian law. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the EU, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country and can bring a claim in your local courts. Please contact us first; most problems can be solved quickly.
